やった! Okami HD Edition Is Westbound!

Amaterasu brushes her way into glorious HD this fall worldwide.

Earlier reports of a leaked Famitsu article from Andriasang gave information on Amaterasu’s newest reincarnation being an HD remake for the PlayStation 3. This was roughly translated and known as “Okami Magnificent Version.” Now the PlayStaiton Blog today officially announced that Okami will be available on the PlayStation Store this fall.

A few new features this time around aside from 16:9 and 1080p support include the ability to play using PlayStation Move ala Wii Remote and Nunchuck as well as the traditional PlayStation 3 controls (presumably the same controls used in the PlayStation 2 release). The game also includes a Platinum trophy- a rarity for some PlayStation Network releases.

Okami will be priced at $19.99 (USD) on the PlayStation Network.
